The utilisation of End-of-Life Plastics for the production of paver blocks: A waste management and disposal strategy

The volume of municipal solid waste in developing countries continues to grow, yet disposal and management have become significant challenges. As a result, proper strategy is required. feasibility making paver blocks from plastic for construction work was investigated this study. Paver manufactured (PP HDPE) sand varied proportions were evaluated compressive strength, water absorption, abrasion resistance. with ratios 30:70%, 40:60%, 50:50%, 60:40%, 70:30%, or PP30, PP40, PP50, PP60, PP70, HDPE30, HDPE40, HDPE50, HDPE60, HDPE70. inspected after 28 days. Compressive LA abrasion, absorption increased 30% 40% HDPE, then fell 70%. block PP content grew 70%, decreased. strength declined 50% PP, somewhat, 60% 70% PP. PP60 HDPE40 had the highest value, absorption. pavers lesser more than pavers. 0.53% 11%; 0.03% 24.2%. HDPE50 resistance, 20.09 MPa, 11%, 0.53%, respectively, 13.06 12.1%, 0.03%.
